[Economics] Salary Empty [Economics] Salary

Post by Scott Hall Sat Jul 17, 2010 10:45 pm

Ok, whatup? My salary dropped from 1.3 to 0.7, after previouisly being dropped from 1.55. The food I need to buy costs 12.20. I make, now, 8.4 IF I work 12 hours AND without taxes. Something needs to change. Higher salaries, lower prices, something. Or I could alternate, train one day study the next. That would lower my food quality requirements. But something needs to happen. Why are food prices so high? Why are salaries so low?

[Economics] Salary Empty Re: [Economics] Salary

Post by Scott Hall Fri Jul 30, 2010 4:00 pm

Things have gotten better, for me anyway, in the past few weeks. Food price dropped about $5, and I got a new job paying $1.50/hour. But I look at the other jobs for other skill levels, and they are like $0.40/hour and $0.60/hour.

Hmm, did you check how your company is doing marketwise? Not all companies are trying to take advantage of the eCitizens by giving lower salary. The economy is on a slump right now. Our heli company is not selling anything at all but we opt to keep it open even though we are losing money in the process because we know it will be difficult for our employees to look for a new job.

Maybe you should check on what's happening in our economy first before making accusations about capitalism :)

I am considering on hiring harvesters, mechanics, technicians, and fitters. PM me if you are interested to do the arrangements. My Iron company have too many multis there so a high level harvester is needed.
