Any CyberNations players?
I've raved about this game in IRC and to some of you many-a-time so I thought I may as well publicly mention it:
CyberNations (.net) is a nation building game where players create a nation. This leads to a whole side of nation building which I know very little about (), but the interested side to me is the politics and foreign affairs. Why? Because there is very little in the way of game mechanics prescribing mechanics for alliances (the equivalent of nations), so that means that if you put an name in in your Alliance Affiliation, you create that alliance. There is also no sort of mechanics prescribing a sort of government, meaning that you get everything from democracies to francoist dictatorships (and the obligatory commines). War is also good, with alliances being able to declare war without any kind of mechanics needed, the only war mechanics being between individual nations. And there are nukes. Treaties too, are completely player defined. All this player lead politics means that there is more drama, more betrayal and more scandal, particularly on the game forums (which are very active forums.cybernations.net). The wiki is worth leading too (google it), if you look at some of the larger wars (All the Great Wars, GATO - IV War, The Karma War are good ones) it shows just how much drama there is in this game.
Check it out!
Edit: Go GATO!

LOL, GATO.
You mentioned the best Assembly Chairman GATO ever had was a Filipino. Who was it? I always thought the best Assembly Chairman GATO had was Chris Kaos. /s

Poor Kaos, lol.
Don't quite remember Arciel though. Either after my time or he was AC when I took a break from the drama that is CN. I stopped playing Cyber Nations completely right around the time GOONS came in and one of the Great Wars started with LUE, etc.

GWII, the one where LUE defended Farkistan?
Either way, the NPO are now getting beaten badly in the biggest nuclear war ever.
Edit: I'm called Connors in CN too

Re: Any CyberNations players?
Yep, that's the one. I was there for GATO's first war against INC and stuck around until GWII. Most fun I ever had in war though was when we joined the bandwagon against NAAC after we found them spying on us.
hoskin, CN is completely free to play, but you can donate to the game for extra benefits.

We only just overlap then. I joined in December 06. We've just come out of viceroyship too, for a whole year almost. Daed got banned at some point, and Barb too. Still, Kevlar is the AC, and we're all great really. :)

The name sounds familiar, i think i've seen an ad for it. Isn't it something to do with the Greeks?
