Re: Cartoons from Japan
Princess Mononoke is one of his best ones if you are into action, story, etc.;
However, I would like to note that any of his animated movies are great.

Re: Cartoons from Japan
Don't even get me started on anime, I waste half my life watching those. I've seen the complete series (so far) of all of the following.
Naruto.
Naruto Shippuden.
Bleach.
Code Geass. (both parts)
Gundam Wing.
Gundam SEED.
Gundam SEED Destiny.
D.Gray-Man.
Gundam 00.
Gundam 00 Second Series.
Dragonball.
Dragonball Z.
Dragonball GT.
Death Note.
And many others that I can't remember off the top of my head

Re: Cartoons from Japan
I prefer reading the manga over the anime for some reason ha ha.
Cowboy Bebop was one of my favorite classics.
