NBA 2K10 PC QUESTION

Hi, I just installed NBA 2K10 in my PC.
Is it advisable for me to buy a xbox 360 controller?

I have a controller for pc which looks like a PS controller, but I can't map all the buttons needed for NBA 2K10.

Please advise.
