The British Embassy in July Empty The British Embassy in July

Post by John F Baker Fri Jul 08, 2011 4:20 pm

Greetings, the Philippines,

It is my (citizen link: John F Baker) pleasure to serve as this month's British Ambassador to South East Asia & Oceania — including the Philippines — on behalf of the UK Foreign Office. I find this corner of the world, in real life, extremely exciting, and I'm sure the eRepublik parallel universe will offer a similar experience!

As convention goes, here is the His Britannic Majesty, King Woldy's government this July:
Prime Minister (CP): Jamesw
Deputy Prime Minister (VP)
and Minister of Finance: Emergy Maxfell
Minister of Foreign Affairs: Daeres & Margaret H Thatcher
Minister of Home Affairs: Jinnb & Kev Kevy Kevy Kev Shabbado
Minister of Recruitment: Jimmbojoy
Minister of Work: Master Hofkens

Some brief information about the UK:
Please do join us in the UK's national IRC channel, #eUK, although it can often be a place for international trolls and marketeres to spam. In the UK, we rely much more on party, military and government channels for communication. Our forums can be found at forums.erepublik.co.uk, and it's a good place to get into the swing of the UK.

For diplomacy, #eUKFA is the place to go, where you'll find our full Foreign Office staff idling to answer questions.

I've had a chat with a few of you in #erep.ph, and from there and other sources, this is what I have your cabinet as:
President : Aren Perry
Vice President: ?
MoFA: Uniqueloo
MoD: Smily132
Minister of Education: Elari Reili
Minister of Merritment : Coco The Killa
Is this all valid? Can anyone correct me here? :)

I look forward to getting to know the Philippines and it's government & community over the coming weeks, and hopefully I can provide as much information for you about my own country.

Thanks very much,
Lord John F Baker, MBE DSO MID*
British Ambassador to South East Asia & Oceania

Hello there John F Baker,

It is nice to see the eUK embassy active after a long break. To put it short, the ePhilippines is currently struggling a NE war with eIndonesia. The nations have agreed to let the latter to take eFilipino regions to the last, and later on return them back. On the other side of the game, the daily routines of eFilipinos took a short break to gasp as the Aren Perry administration took over the country. A new rule has been set, led by our new CP Aren Perry and his cabinet.

Well, the presidential term began with the announcing that the country would be wiped out shortly afterward. In fact, we are already off the map, which explains the conflicted feelings.

Ah.

So the temporary Indonesian occupation has already begun :S That would explain the calls to fight for freedom.
