Ministry of the Economy Empty Ministry of the Economy

Post by Hekter Sat Feb 26, 2011 11:16 am

Simply put, I do not firmly believe that the current structures of the Department of Finance and the Department of Home Affairs are properly suited in a position to bring on the loads of determining Economic policy as we rapidly move towards an eSocialist system. In essence, I am proposing the creation of the Ministry of the Economy, or MoE, and the ministry’s role will be as follows:

1. Determine the official wage tables.
2. Determine product prices.
3. Act as a go-between the DoF and the DoHA as well as the citizenry.
4. Offer advice to the common citizen as to how to properly spend their hard-earned PHP.

As orgs do not exist, I would recommend publishing the official numbers in the BoP’s Financial Review paper in cooperation with the Department of Finance. Of course, the MoE will be coordinating with both of the ministries as we move forward.

Simply put, I have been unfortunately dragging my feet on this particular concern, and I hope to quickly change that with a set line of actions I must partake in. I would like to hereby offer my services as the Minister of the Economy, and I hope to be delving into some spreadsheets to work on the first wage and prices tables literally momentarily. No-one wants to see this country stronger faster than I do, and you have my sincere apologies for not getting on this sooner.

TL;DR Version:
MoE lays down in stone how the eSocialism’s numbers will be figured and makes it a set job.
